02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

we aim to offer advice or donate in response to enquiries, however owing to ageing and poor health of all the Trustees, and now the death of a trustee,and following an application to Windup the charity being approved by O S C R, the trustees are now in the process of selling the property which was purchased for the use of Ashbank Trust since it was established in 1980.

Constitutional objectives

DO HEREBY DECLARE that we shall hold the Trust property subject to the conditions and powers... (One) the Trustees shall hold the Trust property upon trust to employ the same for care, education, training and hostel accommodation for disadvantaged and handicapped children and young people and for such other charitable purposes relating to the provision of benefits for disadvantaged and handicapped children and young people as they, in their sole discretion, may select.
