02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

RSABI is a charity dedicated to supporting people in Scottish agriculture. Their mission is to provide practical, emotional, and financial assistance to individuals and families in the agricultural sector who are experiencing hardship. They aim to ensure that no one in Scottish agriculture faces adversity alone by offering comprehensive support to improve well-being and resilience. RSABI provides financial assistance through grants and aid to cover essential living costs and medical expenses. They also offer emotional support via a helpline and counselling services, and practical help with paperwork, benefits advice, and connecting individuals with other support services. Key services include the RSABI Helpline, a Welfare Program delivering direct support, and various fundraising and awareness activities to sustain operations and raise awareness about the challenges faced by the agricultural community.
