02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To allow payments of income or capital to, or for the benefit of, such charitable institutions, societies or organisations as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion may select. Only appeals from registered charities will be considered. They donate predominately to Scottish based charities or charities with a Scottish connection, with a particular emphasis on the Fife and Aberdeen areas. They donate to a wide variety of entities where a small donation which will make a significant impact

  • any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes

Constitutional objectives

For payment or application of the revenue of the Trust Fund or such portion thereof as the Trustees shall from time to time in their sole discretion think fit to such of the religious funds and charitable schemes and organisations specified in Schedule I appended hereto and for the benefit of such other religious funds and charitable schemes and organisations having their domicile or carrying on their work in Scotland or England and for such educational and cultural purposes and in the relief of poverty and assistance of socially inadequate persons in Scotland or England all as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion think fit and that in such shares and proportions (with express power to the Trustees to exclude any of the beneficiaries named in the said Schedule if they in their sole discretion shall think fit) and at such times as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion from time to time decide.
