02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To proclaim the word of God and encourage others to become followers. We support members and others in the local community especially in difficult times. We support the local food bank, make donations to emergency appeals around the world, and appeals for struggling families in and around Glasgow. We work with children on Sundays and Boys. Brigade on Wednesdays and Girl' Brigade on Tuesday. A local primary school visits from time to time to let children see inside a Church building and explain what goes on and they also have end of term services in our Church.
