02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To organise & run an annual agricultural show which in turn highlights what constitutes high standards in all fields covered and bring the local and wider community together in doing so. This can only take place by local fundraising, publicising the show, making all the necessary arrangements required for the show, running the events and publicising the events afterwards, with the help from the committee and volunteers.

Constitutional objectives
The Association has been formed to organise and run the annual Walls Show (“the Show”) for the interest and enjoyment of the residents of the Walls, Sandness, Sandsting and Aithsting districts, with the following objects: 2.1 the advancement of environmental protection or improvement. 2.2 the advancement of animal welfare. and 2.3 to provide opportunities for local non-profit making organisations and charities to publicise their activities at the Show.
