02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The principal purpose of the Trust is to financially support voluntary or charitable organisations and groups but restricted to those within the 'Community of Aberlour and District'. The Trust can, from time to time, support projects that benefit the environment or people of 'Aberlour and the immediate surrounding area'. The Trust welcomes requests from groups, clubs and organisations who have need of funds for a particular project, provided they meet the geographical requirements.

Constitutional objectives

My principal purpose is that my Trustees should use the whole monies and heritable property with which I provide them, for the benefit of the whole Community of Aberlour and District and the Trust hereby constituted shall be named 'The Alice Littler Memorial Trust' in memory of my late wife Alice. I confer upon my Trustees the fullest power and authority to make rules and regulations for the government and management of 'The Alice Littler Memorial Trust' with power to them to make over donations for any charitable purpose which the Trust may select whatsoever. Declaring however that said donations shall be restricted to individuals or organisations being resident within or set up for the benefit of Aberlour and the immediate surrounding area.
