02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our primary goal is to bear witness about Jehovah by preaching about His Kingdom and what it will soon do for mankind. We promote belief in Jehovah God and teach that His Kingdom—a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ—will bring blessings to the earth in the near future. We also encourage people to live according to Bible principles. This preaching work was commanded by Jesus, as shown in scriptures such as Matthew 28:19–20. We carry out this commission in several ways, including door-to-door ministry, public cart witnessing, and offering free home Bible studies. In addition, we meet regularly at our place of worship to strengthen our faith in Jehovah’s promises for the future and to receive training on how to be effective in our ministry.
