02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We provide the facilities of Kames Hall to local users for a wide variety of sporting, cultural, leisure, entertainment and educational activities and make it available to public bodies such as the Local Authority (Polling Station or other uses) and the NHS (Vaccination Clinics).

Constitutional objectives

The said subjects and the building erected thereon (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trust subjects') are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of a Community Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Kilfinan without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
