Constitutional objectives
The Society, established in 1969 shall have the following objects. 1. To promote interest in and to encourage and improve the cultivation of Fuchsias. 2. To hold meetings for the interchange of information on the propagation and growing of Fuchsias and on other horticultural topics. 3. To hold shows and exhibitions or displays of Fuchsias, open to the public, at which information on propagation and cultivation may be passed on. 4. To encourage the introduction of new hybrids. 5. To make information on Fuchsias available to local horticultural societies and others, making donations and grants to local horticultural clubs and organisation.
