02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The trust was originally set up to provide accommodation for poor old people and poor girls at a residential home., however the home was taken over by the Free Church of Scotland, which resulted in the objectives of the trust being widened to provide assistance to the underprivileged. This is achieved by providing grants to other charities, where the income is derived from investments held.
