02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To secure the establishment of a Village Hall for Rothienorman and to provide a warm, safe, encompassing space for all and any visitors. The charity is set up in order to be able to hire the hall out to local groups, private events, public events and all such like as and when required. We have several local groups whom use the hall on a weekly basis ranging from Toddlers, Karate, Yoga, Table Tennis, Community Cafes, Indoor Bowling to also local groups holding their meetings. We also hire the hall to anyone who requires a space for between 200 and at a max 300 people.

Constitutional objectives
to secure the establishment of a Village Hall for Rothienorman and (2) to promote the well being of the inhabitants of Rothienorman without the distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may be by law deemed to be charitable.
