02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Provide a safe and welcoming environment for villagers and people from surrounding areas to hire a hall big enough to welcome 150 guests or small enough to welcome 20 or so people for a meeting or exercise class. Our hall is available for all general public to hire for any event that they require. Our trustees are continuously checking on the hall to make sure that the heating is always working and the electrics are all safe and secure. We have recently refurbished the toilet facilities, including adding a disabled toilet and baby changing facility and also recently re-painted the whole hall and bought new blinds.

Constitutional objectives
to secure the establishment of a Village Hall for Rothienorman and (2) to promote the well being of the inhabitants of Rothienorman without the distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may be by law deemed to be charitable.
