Constitutional objectives
I give to my executors and to the survivors and successors of them, the sum of Five thousand dollars in trust however, to take, hold, invest and reinvest from time to time the principal and income of said fund and as soon after my decease as practicable to make arrangements for the establishing at Doune, Scotland, near my father's home and where I was educated, a free public, consulting and circulating library, to be managed under a Deed of Trust by a board of Trustees or by a corporation having the same object in view.
