02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to enable anyone of any age or ability to learn , and regularly play a brass instrument. Playing an instrument is beneficial for mental wellbeing. We also meet weekly to practise and this brings social benefits to all members. As a band we provide music to charities, events and the elderly free of charge. We see the benefits our playing has to patients with dementia, and the elderly in our local care home.
