Constitutional objectives
The Founder desires to set up a trust for charitable purposes the objects to be within the uncontrolled discretion of the aftermentioned Trustees as they shall think fit without prejudice to this generality but by way of guide to the Trustees, inter alia: (1) to encourage, support and promote the Arts in general, and particularly the, visual and performing Arts in Scotland. and organisations with like purposes: (2) to promote and improve education in Scottish schools, colleges, universities and like establishments: (3) to benefit sick, needy and deserving in Scotland and encourage charitable works of organisations supporting such causes: (4) to advance the Christian religion. (5) to benefit charitable organisations outwith Scotland with similar objects. in the discretion of the Trustees:
