Constitutional objectives
The Charge is established for exclusively charitable purposes, primarily for the advancement of religion and to provide public benefit. The expression “charitable purposes” shall mean charitable purposes as defined in Section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 as amended or superseded from time to time (“the 2005 Act”) which are also regarded as charitable purposes in relation to the application of the Taxes Acts from time to time in force.
