02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund at their sole discretion to make grants, loans or payments out of the income or capital of the Trust Fund for the maintenance, repair or preservation for the public benefit of buildings of historic or architectural interest, land of scenic, historic or scientific interest or objects of national, scientific, historic or artistic interest (national interest including for this purpose interest within any part of the United Kingdom) and that in such way and manner as the Trustees shall from time to time determine: Declaring that such grants or loans may be made on such terms and subject to such conditions as the Trustees may think fit and in the case of loans with or without security and upon such terms as to interest, if any, and repayment as the Trustees in their sole discretion think proper.
