02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our main purpose is to perform two main concerts each year and we achieve this by rehearsing each week from September to April. We have a membership of around 80 from age group 25 - 85! We also sing in the Community and have this year performed at several events including the VE Day celebrations. We also hold fund-raising events which adds to the social involvement and enjoyment of the choir. We support our local musicians by inviting them to perform with us on the concert platform.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Society shall be: to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.
