It provides the community a venue to hold meetings, sport clubs, social events, venue for Cubs and Brownies to meet. Is the venue to host the annual Portmoak Festival to name a few reasons

Constitutional objectives

The said subjects and buildings erected or to be erected thereon, hereinafter referred to as 'the trust subjects' are dedicated and shall be held by the said Trustees and the successors of said Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments or otherwise as may be found expedient of the inhabitants of the Parish of Portmoak in the County of Kinross and its immediate vicinity, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, subject to the provisions of these presents.
