Constitutional objectives
The Society is established for the relief or widows and orphans or dependent parents of (or other persons dependent upon) fishermen forming the crews of vessels entered in the Society who may be lost at sea or who may die on shore from accident received whilst in the pursuit of their calling or who through illness or injury may become incapacitated from duty while in the employment of a Member provided such persons are in necessitous circumstances.
