The relief of those in need by reason of age, iiI-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, primarily by working as an agency to make arrangements for the adoption and permanent placement of children in Scotland and delivering suPPOtt services to children and adults, in accordance with the Adoption ancl Children (Scotland) Act 2007, the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 and any other pertinent Act of Parliament or Regulations in operation from time to time.
