OSCR note: This SCIO was incorporated on 20/03/2015 as a result of a Change to SCIO application by Kirkhill District Amenities Association which was an Unincorporated Association registered as a charity since 01/01/1992. Previous charity name Kirkhill Community Centre from the registered date to 31 August 2020. Aird Community Trust (formerly known as Kirkhill Community Centre) SC012797 has accepted the assets and liabilities of Kirkhill and Bunchrew Community Trust SC029389 which was dissolved on 31/08/2020 as a result of an Application to Transfer its Undertaking under section 61 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.

What the charity exists to do
Our purposes, as set out in our constitution, are to improve the conditions of life of the residents of Kirkhill and Bunchrew Community Council area, Cabrich and Clunes by providing for: • The prevention or relief of poverty. • The advancement of education. • The advancement of health. • The advancement of citizenship or community development. • The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture, or science. • The advancement of public participation in sport. • The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities. • The advancement of environmental protection or improvement. • The relief of those in need.
