What the charity exists to do
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Who we are Hillhead Baptist Church exists to honour God by being an open and inclusive community that enables people to question and discover for themselves what it might mean to be a follower of Jesus. Mission Statement Our mission is to discern God's loving and inclusive purposes: to cultivate faith and build community, to confront unfairness, to create safe welcoming space, and deepen relationships. Vision Statement Seeking to follow the pattern of Jesus by weaving threads of love and transformation in Hillhead and other linked locations. Values Statement We strive to be: - Christ-centred, proactively inclusive, - imaginative and creative, thoughtful and reflective, - relevant and outward looking. - welcoming, hospitable and generous. The Church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland and the Baptist Union of Great Britain
