Constitutional objectives
The advancement of religion. For the benefit of natives of Cupar and of the immediate neighbourhood at the time residing there and of persons who have resided there for the greater part of their lives and who are deserving indigent men and women over sixty years of age or are in delicate health, it being hereby directed that those suffering from blindness or deafness or physical defect shall have a preference. To provide suitable clothing and substantial food and to give privately small pensions to respectable women who are striving to support themselves and who are deserving of such aid.
