02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To promote and encourage general reserach into Allergic Lung Diseases with particular reference to the condition known as Pigeon Fancier's Lung. Each year medical samples are taken at a conference and used to research the causes and develop better tests for lung disease.

Constitutional objectives

(a) to promote and encourage general research into the allergic lung diseases with particular reference to the condition known as Pigeon Fanciers Lung which it has been found displays characteristics found in other lung diseases (b) to raise funds fur the purposes described in l(a) above in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing by sales of pigeons and by donations from pigeon clubs and hciers.
