02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Prevention or relief of poverty, advancement of art, heritage, culture or science through the rental from Argyll & Bute Council, and the maintenance of Creich Community Hall by the appointed Management Committee. Creich Hall is available to rent (mainly to local groups) for such activities as yoga/pilates classes, art classes, music ‘jams’, Gaelic classes, playgroup and Book Bug sessions, our library, ‘Remembering the Ross’ sessions for the more elderly of the community, theatre productions, meetings, etc. Our accommodation is available to rent mainly to youth groups, pilgrims and temporary workers. It is also used as emergency accommodation during storms.
