Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Committee shall be. To promote the use of the Kinross King George V Playing Fields (“KGV”) and associated facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Kinross and environs, without distinction of sex or gender, or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Municipal Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance sport and education, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. In furtherance of the above, The Committee is and shall be a charity under the auspices of the Scottish Charity Regulator. The Committee shall be a non-political and non-sectarian in religion. The Committee shall take a managerial role in promoting its objects, where practicable and appropriate delegating the responsibility for the administration, maintenance and day-to-day running of the KGV facilities to the respective appointed sports and community organisations. The Committee shall have power to lease heritable property
