02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Sunday worship took place at 12pm weekly throughout the year, which was also broadcast live on Facebook. The congregation exists to provide public Christian worship and to care for the spiritual and pastoral needs To fulfil this objective monies are donated by church members according to their means and by fund raising activities during the year. The congregation meets each Sunday for public worship and holds additional services at the time of Christian festivals, ie Christmas and Easter as well as a summer holiday club for children and young people. Social meetings, including drama productions and film nights, public lectures and fund raising events are held. Anyone is welcome at all events. The church is a member of Murrayfield Churches Together. The activities of the church and upkeep of the premises are funded by voluntary giving and supplemented by fund raising and hall letting to third parties
