What the charity exists to do
The society aim is to promote an interest in the heritage of the local area in particular its association with Pictish history. It is custodian of the Kincardine Grave Stone

Constitutional objectives
a. To identify and record the assets of scenic, natural history, historic or artistic merit which are available in the Parishes of Creich, Kincardine & Croick, Lairg and Edderton. Having identified them, to consider their accessibility, including presentation, to the public and to monitor such developments as may affect them in the future. b. To foster the education of' the communities of and visitors to the aforementioned Parishes in the scenic, natural history, historic and artistic heritage of the area of the Kyle of Sutherland. c. To liaise and co-operate with Landowners, their Agents and the many public bodies also concerned with these aims and purposes in order that everything possible may be done to secure their attainment to the common good.
