Constitutional objectives
The organisation operates within Aberdeen and the surrounding area. The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 to advance education by promoting understanding of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs). and 4.2 to take action to help people to escape from poverty in developing countries, referred to as the Global South in the remainder of this document, by ensuring that they receive fair prices for their products and thus supporting employment in the Global South.
