02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Purpose is to encourage the study of local history, to collect documents, photographs and artefacts of local historical interest and to give talks and lectures and to provide information re local history to enquirers. To publish photographs and information on our new website, to scan photographs so they can be held electronically and to catalogue our collection.
