02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Holding regular Sunday services of public worship and other meetings the have an emphasis on Christian teaching and lifestyle. Connecting with local groups and community-based bodies. partnering locally with other churches in Angus and nationally through our affiliation to the Elim Pentecostal Church as an Elim Church Incorporated (EIC) Fellowship. To help relieve poverty by: Working with local foodbank services to provide emergency supplies to local people in need. Providing practical and financial support to projects overseas, in particular Uganda. This includes the establishment, maintenance and development of facilities for education, healthcare and training for local churches. Strathmore Christian Fellowship aims to be a church that honours Jesus Christ and upholds biblical truth in a contemporary, spiritual manner. The purpose of the church includes providing support to those both locally and overseas who are in some way disadvantaged.

Constitutional objectives
The promotion of Christianity by: 4.1.1 Holding regular Sunday services of public worship and other meetings that have an emphasis on Christian teaching and lifestyle 4.1.2 Connecting with local groups and community-based bodies. partnering locally with other churches in Angus and nationally through our affiliation to the Elim Pentecostal Church as an Elim Church Incorporated (ECI) Fellowship. 4.2 To help relieve poverty by: 4.2.1 Working with Angus Foodbank to provide emergency food supplies to those in need. 4.2.2 Providing practical and financial support to projects overseas, in particular, Uganda. This includes the establishment, maintenance and development of facilities for education, healthcare and training for local churches.
