02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To hold an annual Summer Show and other events for the promotion of the company's objects. To raise funds through annual and other events and to invite or receive contributions from any person or persons, organisations, and companies whatsoever by way of subscription, donation or otherwise provided that this shall be without prejudice to the ability of the Company to disclaim and gift, legacy or bequest in whole or in part in such circumstances as the Company may think fit.

Constitutional objectives
Subject to that over-riding qualification, the Company’s objects are to advance the education of the public by the promotion and advancement of agriculture, agricultural science and associated rural activities and trades. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Company shall seek: To promote and advance the knowledge of the general public in relation to agricultural and rural matter and to promote for the benefit of the public the interests of the agricultural and farming communities.
