02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Charity is set up to: rescue stray & unwanted cats & kittens, rehabilitate and rehome them. Inform the public on the care of cats & kittens & encourage the neutering of cats. The charity provides shelter & veterinary treatment for all cats coming into our care and keeps them housed and fed in comfort in the Shelter until such times as they can be re-homed. We provide all aspects of care from admission to rehoming & any veterinary treatment required including neutering, medication where necessary and any type of veterinary investigation or surgery, including after care when the cat has an ongoing but treatable health problem which can be treated in the new home. We have a neutering voucher scheme for people who are unable to afford neutering . Cats go to the most suitable home possible and the most suitable owner so that they can live a comfortable & happy life thereafter. All cats coming through the shelter are microchipped and given appropriate vaccinations.
