02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The objects of the Trust are:-(i) To give financial aid to poor aged infirm or distressed persons in the Cupar Ward,as determined by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland inthe Fourth Statutory Review and which boundaries are delineated and shown redon the map annexed and signed as relative hereto, and to charitable institutions ororganisations providing assistance to or facilities for such persons.(ii) to give financial aid towards the creation or maintenance of youth organisations inthe said Ward which have for their objects the provision of cultural or recreationalfacilities for young persons and the creation and maintenance of such otherorganisations in the said Ward which exist for the social welfare of youth.(iii) to provide or assist in providing holidays or convalescing facilities at home orabroad to persons in the said Ward who are suffering from or recovering fromillness or disability and whose circumstances are such that they are unable

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Trust are:- (i) To give financial aid to poor aged infirm or distressed persons in the Cupar Ward, as determined by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland in the Fourth Statutory Review and which boundaries are delineated and shown red on the map annexed and signed as relative hereto, and to charitable institutions or organisations providing assistance to or facilities for such persons. (ii) to give financial aid towards the creation or maintenance of youth organisations in the said Ward which have for their objects the provision of cultural or recreational facilities for young persons and the creation and maintenance of such other organisations in the said Ward which exist for the social welfare of youth. (iii) to provide or assist in providing holidays or convalescing facilities at home or abroad to persons in the said Ward who are suffering from or recovering from illness or disability and whose circumstances are such that they are unable to meet the cost of holidays or periods of convalescence. (iv) to provide or assist in providing cultural, educational and recreational facilities in the said Ward and to give financial aid to any project which the charitable trustees may consider in their sole discretion to be tor the benefit at the community ot said Ward. and (v) to make payments to such charitable organisations as the charitable trustees may decide which at the time of payment are recognised as charitable by HM Revenue and Customs and are operating (but not necessarily exclusively) in the said Ward.
