What the charity exists to do

The purposes of the Trust, is to use the capital and income of the fund for the prevention of relief of poverty, or relief of anyone in need by reason of age, ill health, disabillity, financial hardship or other disadvantage in respect of any persons resident in the Parishes of Torosay, Kinlochspelvie, Salen or Ulva in the Isle of Mull.

The charity trustees will have power to use both the capital and income of the trust fund to make grants for the prevention of relief of poverty, or for the relief of anyone in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage (a) any person on persons resident in, or (b) a project or scheme operating to benefit the residents of the Parishes of Torosay and Kinlochspelvie and Salen and Ulva, all in the Isle 0f Mull, Scotland. In the event of there being no beneficiaries or projects or schemes being identified within the said Parishes the trustees will have power to give grants to benefit residents elsewhere within the Church of Scotland Charge of 'The Isle of Mull Churches'.
