02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To promote and carry out inexpensive and at the same time, sanitary methods of disposal of the dead, which shall best tend to render the remains innocuous and shall minimise pollution of the environment, including cremation and, if found by research and testing to be efficacious in these respects, resomation and any other method of disposal of the dead which is inexpensive, sanitary, advances public health and minimises pollution of the environment. and 2.2 To publish information on all matters tending to promote and explain cremation, resomation and any other method (include future methods) of disposal of the dead as described in article 2.1 above in the form of publications, lectures and other methods of communication in a manner to further promote inexpensive sanitary and pollution minimised methods of disposal of the dead The services provided and the charges for the services are intended to allay funeral poverty.
