02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The band meets regularly for rehearsals to develop repertoire and playing standards. We provide uniforms and instruments to players. Various engagements are attended during the year, usually in support of community groups, in care home settings and also religious services such as the Keith Remembrance Parade. We also have a training band teaching young people how to play a brass instrument, free of charge.

Constitutional objectives
2 The association's purposes are: • Create Sustain and nurture an active brass group in the Keith and District area, and to strive to improve standards of individual and group playing through public performance. • To be an active organisation in the local community. • Unconditionally, promote a safe, welcoming and friendly environment for all members during rehearsals, engagements and other events.
