02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
It was set up to preserve and protect the special rural, architectural and historic character of the village. The society maintains a collection of photographs , maps and historical documents that record the social and build history of the village. The society works : to preserve historic buildings and village character to protect local greenbelt land to promote Carmunnock’s history through heritage trails and events. to colllect and share local historical records to encourage community involvement and awareness of the village’ heritage.

Constitutional objectives
