Constitutional objectives

The charitable objectives of the company are 2.1 To advance animal welfare by providing short-term pet care (in the homes of volunteer fosterers) when a pet owner is unable to provide pet care through illness, homelessness or domestic abuse, and cannot arrange alternative care, with the aim of returning pets to their owner whenever possible. and 2.2 To provide help, if possible, with the rehoming of a foster pet when the owner is unable to continue providing care, after a foster period, giving the owner comfort that their pet is being cared for when they are no longer able to do so and providing advice and support to the owner. 2.3 To provide support to those in need by 2.3.1 providing advice and support to pet owners during periods of illness, homelessness or domestic abuse or similar vulnerable situations regarding how to care for their pet in the short term with the aim of retaining their pet long term and supporting the psychological and physical health benefits which the provision of pet care provides to pet owners 2.3.2 ensuring that owners have the anticipation of being reunited with their pet after their personal crisis period has resolved and enabling them to remain long term pet owners 2.4 To provide the benefits of pet care to our foster volunteers by enabling them to gain the human-animal companion bond of a pet, but without the long term responsibility. Secondly, from working with a charity making a difference by helping those owners and pets in emergency situations.
