02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Charity was set up to add value to the lives of the people of Dunfermline and its environs. The Trustees seek to fulfil this objective by: • The maintenance and development of the Birthplace Museum to preserve and promote the legacy of Andrew Carnegie. • A programme of grant giving to local organisations. and • Entering into partnerships and the promotion of initiatives with groups and organisations whose objects are compatible with those of the Trust.
