02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our playgroup is set up to advance the education and social development of pre-school children, the playgroup sessions allow the children to mix and socialise with others of a similar age, they are encouraged to take part in organised activities whilst at playgroup such as painting and drawing, outdoor exploring as well as learning from educational games and toys etc.

Constitutional objectives
The aim of the Playgroup is to advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and also to advance the education of their parents and other appropriate persons In the furtherance of that aim (a) to provide safe and satisfying group play in which parents take part when appropriate (b) to encourage other charitable activities through which the parents may support the development of children.
