02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
This charity maintains the premise of the Bixter Community Hall and ensures that it is suitable for groups, individual and businesses to use, it also puts on community events because our aim is to bring people together.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To manage and maintain a community hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Bixter and its environs without distinction of age, gender, sexuality or political, religious and other opinions, in order to:- 4.2 Enhance the conditions of life within the community by providing facilities for recreational, cultural and community centred activities 4.3 Advance education, citizenship and community development through the sponsorship of community events within the hall.
