02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Organisation of the maintenance, governance and upkeep of the Village Hall. Provision of Hall for use by various local groups and clubs for recreational activities, classes and meetings. Organisation of various social events in the Hall including ‘New Year Social’ ceilidh, ‘Spring Fayre’, Christmas Party (with gifts for local children). Monthly meetings to discuss and organise Hall related tasks, local issues and needs.

Constitutional objectives

The objects of the Association shall be for the purpose of physical and mental training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreation or otherwise for the community within the Trossachs district and its immediate vicinity without distrinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinion and also to provide funds to relieve distress of anyone living in the district and such other objecsts as may from time to time be determined by the Association. At no time shall betting or gambling be permitted in or upon any part of the Association's premises and any proposed amendment ot this part of the Constitution shall at all times be regarded as incompetent.
