02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The company has been formed to benefit the community of Torridon as defined by a list of postcode units within the Articles but is principally neighbourhoods of Diabaig, Wester Alligin, Alligin, Fasaig and Annat. The objectives are: The advancement of citizenship or community development (including the advancement of rural regeneration) principally within the Community The advancement of education, and health, principally of persons resident in the Community The provision of recreational facilities and/or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life principally for persons resident in the Community The advancement of environmental protection or improvement But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.

(2) The advancement of education, and health, principally of persons resident in the Community. (3) The provision of recreational facilities and/or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life principally for persons resident in the Community. and (4) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement.
