to maintain the hall building as a venue for the local population to use for parties, weddings etc and also to provide entertainments, a meeting place and any other purpose which the trustees deem helpful for the local population.

Constitutional objectives

The said subjects and the building erected thereon (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trust subjects') are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of that area forming that part of the County of Sutherland centred on the Village of Clashmore and stretching between Birichen on the east and Spinningdale on the west and the environs thereof, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
