What the charity exists to do
The objective is to produce a local paper in an alternative format to relieve blind, partially sighted or those people labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability which makes reading a strain, by the provision of a local newspaper by recorded CD's.

Constitutional objectives
The object of the Talking Newspaper is to relieve blind, partially sighted or those people labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability which make reading a strain, by this provision or recorded tapes, cds or mp3 downloads. In furtherance of this object, the Talking Newspaper through its Committee shall have the following powers only:
