02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
to advance the Christian faith, serve its local community, and provide opportunities for worship, learning, fellowship, and pastoral care. We do this by • Public Worship: Holding regular services where people gather for prayer, praise, preaching, and the celebration of sacraments such as Baptism and Communion. • Pastoral Care: Providing spiritual guidance, counselling, support during times of difficulty, and visits to those who are ill, elderly, or isolated. • Christian Education: Teaching the Christian faith through sermons, Bible studies, youth groups, and educational programmes for all ages. • Community Engagement: Supporting local people through outreach activities, community projects, food banks, social groups, and partnerships with charities and other organisations. • Mission and Outreach: Sharing the Christian message and encouraging people to explore and develop their faith. • Promoting Wellbeing and Inclusion: Creating a welcoming environment
