What the charity exists to do
We are a vibrant orthodox community, recognised by the Chief Rabbi, and have contributed to the life of Scotland's historic capital city for over 200 years.

Constitutional objectives
Purposes 4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To provide a place of worship for Jewish people in the manner of the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth. 4.2 To provide religious instruction in the same manner. 4.3 To provide information about matters of Kashrut and Jewish interest, and to organize communal events. 4.4 To advance Jewish education and promote interfaith links. 4.5 To provide relief for those in need, in accordance with Judaism.
