02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees responsible for the management, preservation, and operation of New Pitsligo VIllage Hall as a vital community asset. Our primary objective is to provide a safe, accessible, and inclusive facility that fosters community engagement across all demographics. The charity generates revenue through community-led events, private hires, and room rentals to local clubs and recreational groups. In accordance with our charitable objectives, all funds raised are strictly reinvested into the facility. This ensures the ongoing maintenance of the building, the modernisation of equipment, and the provision of accessible facilities tailored to the diverse needs of our users. By maintaining this essential space, the charity actively supports intergenerational activities, annual community traditions, and local services.

Constitutional objectives
The said subjects and the building erected or to be erected thereon (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trust subjects'), are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as trustees in all time coming for the purposes of physical and mental training and recreation, and social, moral and intellectual development medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreation or otherwise as may be found expedient of tile inhabitants of Pitsligo and surrounding District of Aberdeen without distinction of sex, or of political, religious or other opinions.
