02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Charity run events in order to fundraise to upgrade the Public Hall (which has been closed since 2015) and upkeep the pavilion as well as holding events to entertain the local inhabitants of the area.

Constitutional objectives
a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Fettercairn and District (hereinafter called ‘the Neighbourhood’) without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the inhabitants, voluntary organisations and Local Authority, in a common effort to advance the education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving life for the said inhabitants. b) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a public hall, sports pavilion, and playing fields for activities promoted by the Association.
